About Terran

Hi there. My name is Terran and I’m 30 years old with experience in tutoring, life skills coaching, health & wellness, special needs education, executive functioning, and remediation. I am a current tutor who typically teaches English, Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Grammar, Study Skills, Organization, Nutrition, Meditation, Yoga, and more. I have a Bachelor’s of Science in News and Information Journalism. I am also an ACE Personal Trainer, NASM Personal Trainer, ACE Group Fitness Instructor, Precision Nutrition Level 1 Nutritionist, 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher, and am American Red Cross Adult & Infant First Aid, CPR, & AED Certified.

I’ve been tutoring and coaching since 2010 in a variety of formats. I’ve worked specifically with many individuals on the autism spectrum, with ADHD, and with various sensory processing disorders. I have experience working with special needs populations from ages 5 all the way through 65. I’ve worked with individuals on a 1:1 basis in person and online, and in small group settings in person and online.

I’m currently offering mostly remote/virtual/online services and am an active tutor on several platforms. I aim to uplift and inspire through dissemination of knowledge and can’t wait to work with you and/or your student. I take a holistic approach to all of my sessions and aim to help my students function most effectively and efficiently while also being kind to themselves and their optimal learning tendencies.
