About Kate
I have my Bachelor’s Degree in English, my Master’s Degree in Secondary Education. I worked in the classroom as a full time teacher for 3 years and have an additional 2 years experience as a substitute. I believe learning is a life-long journey and you should always stay curious! I love finding new ways to get content across, making it more relatable to current events and media, and also modifying when the content isn’t clicking. My favorite part of teaching has always been that moment when a student is struggling and finally says “oh I get it now!”
I am always looking to expand my own knowledge of content and teaching methods to keep things fresh and interesting.
