About Jillian

Hello! I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan studying political science. I have been tutoring since my freshman year of high school, thus providing me with an abundance of experience with all grade levels and subjects. I have a passion for teaching, along with tutoring I coach gymnastics with students ages 3-16.

In highschool I took an array of AP courses, including history, english, and biology. I am only a couple years into my undergrad, meaning all K-12 material is still fresh.

I get to know each of my students on a personal level to understand their learning style(s) and goals. I am open to all kinds of students, and as someone who has a learning disability and worked with many students in the same position I am confident I can accommodate to everybody. Regarding my teaching style, I prioritize comprehension. I understand the importance of each student not only be able to complete their work, but being able to thoroughly understand the material.
