About Germaine

I'm an educator who does tutoring in reading K-6 and I'm also a life coach working with adults.

I enjoy helping students learn about the joy of reading. I also helping adults find what brings them joy through life coaching around self-care.

I always loved reading and wanted to share that love of reading with my students. I started teaching Elementary School right out of college 30 years ago.

I have a B.S. in Elementary Education, a M.S. in Reading, a M.Ed in Education Administration and a certificate as a Life Coach.

About the lesson

I discuss areas of improvement with the parent if it is a student under the age of 18 or the student themselves if over 18. I give a needs assessment to get more data on what areas are in need of improvement. I discuss a time frame to begin with and then we get started.

I've mostly worked with the primary grades K-2. But I also have experience with 6th and 7th graders.

I've worked with adults by providing professional development workshops to teachers at work.
