About Phillip
I use to be terrible at school and absolutely hated going every day. But then I had some teachers who actually supported me, who actually cared about my growth as a person and not just a random student. So I decided to model my life with that philosophy, of reaching out and helping everyone I can. School does not have to be hard, and I can show you what I did to learn to love it.
I started helping my classmates out with their math homework and soon realized I was more excited about their growth than my own. So I decided to start teaching so I can experience that more and more.
I am an online English teacher, as well as my degree in Social Studies Secondary Education.

I will first look over some of their work and try to get an idea of what they do. I will also sit down and talk with them and simply ask them what they think they need help with.
I have worked with students who can't speak English fluently yet. I have also worked with students who are struggling in school to those the school has labeled as gifted.
Look for a teacher who will be honest with you.
I took an amazing nap a few days ago.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What am I doing wrong? Why isn't it going the way I want it to. What is the point of doing all this homework when I won't even need it in life.
