About Rayanne

Courage and kindness to one another is what will help us succeed. Speciality in learning difficulties and ELL

To help people overcome fears. I taught swimming lessons to people that were terrified of the water and to watch them overcome their fear was life changing. I then taught public speaking another great fear and the same was true. I have taught struggling learners for 26 years and each time a person overcomes a hurdle in thier learning it changes me for the better

Arkansas teaching certificate 7-12 grade speech/drama/social studies

I was a returning student. I had gone to school at 18 competing at college level in speech and theatre. I loved that part of school but did not do as well in my classwork. I then got married had two children and realized I needed an education. I new I wanted to teach because that had been the best part of my summer jobs teaching students to swim. I loved it. So with two kids under the age of three I went back to school and got my degree. The first job I had was working with at risk teenagers in a grant program.

Graduated from U of Arkansas in Drama/speech

Certified to teach Social Studies after taking college requirements and passing state teacher exam

Trained in ELL, Reading, Dyslexia and LD

Worked with alternative students for 16 years (15 years to 21 year olds)
