About Tony

Tibbetts Guitar Lessons offers a flexible curriculum to fit the needs/desires of each student.

Services include:

Studies of various styles: Blues, Jazz, Classical, Rock, Folk, country, & more.

Music Theory

Sight Reading

Improvisation

Songwriting/Composition

Instrument maintenance

Graduated from Berklee College of Music in Fall 2019.

Knowledge of various musical styles.

Knowledge of music theory, ear training, sight reading, songwriting/composition, and sound recording.

Experience as a gigging/touring musician.

About the lesson

The first lesson consists primarily of getting to know the student. This includes assessing their profficiency level, what music they like, and musical aspirations. Based on this information, the lessons will be shaped into a curriculum that best fits their needs.

Every student is unique. It is the teachers job to view each student as someone who has their own individual needs, to assess the ways in which they learn the most effectively, and teach in a way that is most engaging and productive for the student. The student should ultimately be inspired by the lessons. If not, then that is completely ok. Sometimes it takes the student a few tries to find a teacher that is in sync with their aspirations.
