About Kevin
I teach beginner students of all ages. I tailor the lessons to what you want to learn so, you get the most out of the lessons.
I have been playing music in various capacities for 25 years and I love to teach people the craft as much as I enjoy playing.
Sharing a passion for music is the best thing that I can share with my student. Whether that is listening to a song they really like and then figuring it out or just talking about a musician that has inspired them. Music is the thread that stitches the fabrics of my life together. I want to share that passion with my students.
I've been playing guitar for 25 years and am a multi-instrumentalist. I studied jazz and classical during high school. I continue to study jazz as part of my work to continue to improve.

I like to start by seeing what they already know. If they can read basic notation, understand time signatures and what they can play by ear if anything.
