About Tyler

Music has been my biggest passion for as long as I could remember. I want to be able to share it with as many people as I possible. Everyone should have a means of expressing themselves and music is a perfect outlet for it.

I've done a session at umass lowell as well as consistent weekly lessons through high school.

About the lesson

I like to ask my students what songs they would like to begin learning, and help break down to them each component of the song that makes it come together, so as to not only learn a song but understand the composition as a whole.

I mainly have worked with kids age 10-15, usually beginners, learning the basics of scales and chords.

Find someone who will keep you motivated as well as help draw a clear path for your learning. The internet Carrie's an abundance of information which can be as useful as it is overwhelming.

The Last animals as leaders concert I went to was one of the best shows I've seen, never before have I heard an entire crowd sing along to an instrumental song! those guys really know their stuff.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What styles do you want to play?

What are your long term goals for your playing?

How much time are you willing to commit?
