About Rodrigo
Not only a performer, but an experienced teacher (29 years), my main knowledge is about world beat rhythms. I play several instruments which gives me a good understanding of music arrangements. Let me share my experiences with you!, i will cover technique, repertoire and theory during your sessions.
Long time ago in Mexico city, I was offered a job at a elementary school.
I studied in Mexico city and also in Torrance CA. I have toured all the US and Virgin Islands. This is my job, I am a full time musician and proudly I can say I am succesful at what i do.

First I have a quick test to check clearly what are the student possibilities, habilities and challenging areas. From there I assess and determine which exercises will be convinient and choose repertoire with the student.
I teach from very young people to seniors. There is no limits when anyone decides to learn.

Every weekly class with Rodrigo is fun and educational. I always leave the class inspired, wanting to get better with the guitar. He caters each lesson to the student's specific interest in music. In addition, he always spends some time explaining the music theory related to the music being studied in class, presenting the material in a way that is very simple and easy to understand. Rodrigo helps the student learn the music they like and develop their general knowledge of music, in order to become better musicians!
