Typically that student comes to my home, but I can also travel to the student's home. During my initial meeting with a new student I will access hand-eye coordination and hearing aptitude. We will discuss the student's needs and goals. Attention span for younger students will also be considered. Under all circumstances, every student will learn a song to play during the initial meeting.

The director, Dr. Marcel, is an excellent teacher with skills in classical and jazz piano. I recommend her highly. I've enjoyed taking lessons on a weekly basis.
As a senior, I was interested in taking piano lessons as a hobby. Dr. Marcel made piano lessons interesting and a custom fit for my needs. She also runs programs for music therapy and concert events. Excellent!
