About Ace

Very Affordable

graduate from L.A.C.H.S.A.

30 years of experience as a musician & performer

have toured U.S., Canada,Mexico,Spain,Europe,Japan & Australia

“I’m not in it for the money, I do what I love to pass on the gift of music to the kids to keep music alive & keep those dreams alive that anything is possible through music.”

Everybody I knew always said they “wanted to learn how to play” so I’d say “what better time than now”

it seemed to happen were everywhere I went Somehow someway someone asked me about teaching them how to play Then someone said you should give lessons and I thought that’s A good idea

While in jr high took guitar class which taught me all the fundamentals even though I was already familiar with guitar & fluent on drums

Attended the Los Angeles county high school for the arts on the Cal State Los Angeles campus , majored in DRUMS & minored in guitar.

Graduated while on tour in 1994

About the lesson

First meeting will be to access the students level of comfort with the instrument, attitude & needs.

I can then discuss with them & parents what I feel what’s best & we can go from there

Fundamentals may not always be “fun” but are nessary in order to achieve their goals so it may be “hard” at first

“guitar hero” the game is your friend lol

My youngest student was nine and my oldest student was 33 all still play and they’re actually really good I currently have an 11-year-old student who is awesome Drummer awesome

Expect to have challenges but most importantly make sure you’re comfortable with your teacher and that he’s teaching you at your level after every class or lesson when you leave and you’re done you must feel like you’ve learned something if you haven’t learned anything when you leave the teachers not helping you at all

my 11-year-old drum student was in my studio and I taught his father how to play guitar and the other day they were in there together playing together that was awesome

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What’s your goal what do you want to be able to do? do you want to play in a Band? do you want to serenade your girlfriend what is it that you want to do with this talent that you’re trying to build have a goal
