About Larry

In terms of guitar lessons, I offer lessons tailored for students who range from beginner to advanced. I specialize in finger-picking patterns that can be used for most any kind of genre of music. I also offer lessons in songwriting. As an accomplished musician with more than 65 original recordings, I can offer a good deal of experience in many areas.

I have been a teacher all my life and have had the opportunity to work with students of all age levels. I have been playing and teaching guitar since I was 13 years old. Over the past 20 years I have traveled with bands on National tours and written and recorded more than 50 original songs.

About the lesson

It all starts with finding out the student's background and goals. From here we develop a tailor made plan to help take that student to the next level. This plan will of course be updated and modified as we go along.

I have worked with all ages and levels of experience, including beginners to professionals.

Remember that the interview process is a two way street and that this also the time for you to make sure that your teacher truly fits all of your needs as well.

In the last few years I have played at the Baton Rouge Mardi Gras and International Blues festivals. I have served as the Opening Act on several National Tours.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What kinds of music are you most drawn towards playing, and is that something your teacher is also comfortable with.
