About Brian

I have been teaching for 22 years and playing for 41 years and I come from a long line of teachers in my family. I teach 60 students a week and I get results with my students. I have students that have stayed with me for 12+ years.

I enjoy not only the students but the results of seeing students going from beginners to really playing and enjoying the instrument.

I started teaching guitar while I was going to Berklee to support myself.

I have my Degreee From Berklee School Of Music and I have been teaching for 22 years and playing for 41 years.

About the lesson

If the student is a beginner then we work on the fundamentals depending on what age the student is, otherwise If the student has already been playing then I find out the students goals and also mix in what I think the student needs, but the overall goal is to make my students independent musicians.

I love working with children and adults. I work with a lot of kids with ADD and ADHD and dyslexia. I have also taught handicapped people, paralyzed and also students affected by ambiotic bands. I have also taught members of OutKast and Ricky Smileys Family and I am presently teaching a very famous Hip Hopstars son.

I teach in 4 different locations: First Lesson is Free.

Maple Street Guitars- $35 per 30 min. lesson or $140 a month.

Guitar Decatur- $135 a month for 4 lessons

My House in Candler Park/Lake Claire Area- $30 Per half hr.

In- Home Lessons in Chastain Park/Mt. Paran area- $65 per 45 min. lesson
