About Maddie
I am currently studying at McGill University, completing an Applied Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
I graduated with a Bachelors in Health Sciences from McMaster University with a 3.9 GPA and am originally from Hamilton, Ontario.
I have been tutoring for over 6 years in middle and high school Maths and Sciences, with many students returning for multiple different courses! I love working with children and adolescents, and have extensive experience with young people as not only a tutor, but also a soccer coach, camp counsellor, and speech therapist volunteer!

I let students lead our sessions and encourage plenty of questions and individual problem-solving. In a typical session, we will review a concept that the student is struggling with, and then complete several practice problems until they are able to grasp the concept with less and less guidance.
I am super passionate and very familiar with the subjects I teach, that I am able to teach the content comfortably and in a way students understand!
