About PJ
I have an extensive background as an educator both in and out of the classroom. I was a high school biology teacher in the Peace Corps for two years, a high school special education paraeducator for one year, and spent four years educating patients and athletes in the physical thearpy setting optimizing their physical performance.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy Student (Duke University)
- Golf Instructor - Avid golfer and coach. I have collaborated with TPI certified golf trainers and have worked with countless golfers during my physical thearpy training helping them improve their strength, range of motion, and swing mechanics. I enjoy working with young athletes ranging from beginner to advanced.
- College Baseball Pitcher (Colorado State University) - Lifelong baseball player with a love for the game and a passion for helping my students excel. I use my physical therapy background to assess and optimize my students strength and performance while bringing a compassionate and motivational personality to all my coaching sessions.

During our first session we'll work together to formulate achievable goals. I want to know what YOU want to get out of the coaching sessions, so I can help you get there. I will perform a physical assesment and identify areas we can improve physically and mechanically. I'll also assess my student's strengths and weaknesses through observation. Getting to know my students is paramount to how I coach. I want my students to feel comfortable around me, and I think this comes from openness, honesty and kindness, which I always exhibit. Sports are fun, and I strive to be someone my students look forward to seeing!
I have worked with students ranging from 10 to 21 years old
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I advise people to find a coach whom they feel comfortable around, and who inspire them to do their best
