About
Welcome to Underground Human Performance, where golf performance is built from the ground up.
I’m Richard “RJ” Totten, a NASM Master Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Performance Enhancement Specialist, and competitive golfer dedicated to helping players unlock their full potential. My coaching combines golf-specific fitness, biomechanics, mobility, strength development, and on-course performance strategies to help golfers move better, play better, and stay injury-free.
Whether you’re picking up a club for the first time, preparing for tournament competition, or looking to add distance, consistency, and confidence to your game, every lesson is customized to your individual goals, movement patterns, and skill level.
My coaching philosophy is simple:
Move Better. Swing Better. Play Better.
Students can expect a professional, encouraging, and detail-oriented coaching experience with measurable progress and a clear development plan. Every session is designed to improve your technique, physical performance, and course management so your practice translates into lower scores.
I look forward to helping you reach your next level on the golf course.
