About Lauren

I am an individual French tutor certified in teaching French as a foreign language to students of Preschool through 12th Grade. I am going back to school to further my studies and receive a Master's degree in French Studies so I will have even more to bring to the table! I love to find new and interesting ways to learn the French language. My goal is for my students to have an understandig of French and French/ Francophone culture that will allow them to visit France or a Francophone country with little to no language barrier.

I have a passion for language and opening up the minds of others to the world around them through learning another language and other cultures.

Let's get to it!

I have my Bachelor's in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (P-12) from Montclair State University and am currently going back as a graduate student in the French Studies program.

About the lesson

If the student has prior French experience, I will assess the level of knowledge the student already has, supplement it, and go from there. If the French student has zero French experience, I get started with the basics.
