I believe it is important for a student and teacher to be comfortable with eachother. Without a level of trust and respect of eachother, it is impossible to achieve the results both are looking for.

I work with students first by gaging what their current level is comprehension is in the subject, and then by discussing what student's believe their weaknesses and strengths are. From there, we will create a well rounded plan to get you to where you want to be!

While primarily working with middle, high school, and college students, I have also worked briefly with adults through ad hoc tutoring.

Students should find a teacher who is respected, but fun. When learning a language, it is extremely important to be comfortable with your teacher. Languages can seem intimidating, at first, but with the right resources and teacher, learning can be fun and satisfactory.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should frst ask themselves what their goal is that they are trying to reach. Are you looking to ace a test on a certain subject, or looking to hold a general conversation during your vacation to France? From there, teachers will be able to best create a study plan for the both of you to tackle together.

While, students should also think about their weaknesses in the subject that they want to go over, they should also speak to their teachers about their strengths and what they feel comfortable with! This will keep you confident throughout your studies, which is important to have. This will aso help to create that well rounded plan with your tutor!
