About Meadow

I am currently a junior at the University of South Carolina and have studied French for the past 8 years. I have had many different teachers and professors and been able to apply my knowledge of the language while studying abroad in France three times. I have kept all of my notes, study tools, and assignments and would love to use them in a way that can benefit you while also making sure that we have a great time not only getting to know each other but also so that you will fall in love with French the way I did so many years ago. I welcome feedback and suggestions if something does not work for you, as this is your time to succeed, I am just here to help you get there!

French has been a passion of mine for over 8 years. I love reading books and watching movies in French not only for the challenge but also to better my understanding. Learning a language in a class can be difficult, especially if you are intimidated or feel as though the class is on all different levels and you just have to keep moving forwards. I hope that I can share my love and knowledge of this incredible language with you!

About the lesson

When working with a new student, I will start with the basics, such as how comfortable you feel with the topic at hand, what are your study habits, how best do you learn, and what are your goals for our sessions. I want the student to feel comfortable asking for help and also providing me with feedback if something is not working. I am very adaptable and hope to create a schedule and learning environment that is not only helpful but also fun and engaging.
