About Goodness

Hi, I’m Joy-Goodness, and I love helping students find clarity and confidence in math. With a background in software engineering and experience in research, teaching, and creative problem-solving, I know that learning is never one-size-fits-all. That’s why I adapt my lessons to each student, making sure math feels less like a chore and more like a skill you can actually enjoy mastering. Why do I teach? Because I know what it’s like to struggle with a subject and feel like it just doesn’t “click.” I also know the power of having the right guidance: someone who listens, adapts, and believes in you. That’s the kind of teacher I strive to be. I want to show you that math isn’t just something to survive; it’s something you can master. Let’s make sense of it together!

About the lesson

Math doesn’t have to feel like a puzzle with missing pieces. My lessons are built around you: your pace, your struggles, and your strengths. Whether you’re looking to master fractions, tackle algebra, or just build confidence with numbers, I’ll meet you where you are and help you get where you want to be.

Each session is more than just formulas and memorization. We’ll explore why things work, not just how, turning abstract concepts into something you can see, feel, and understand. I use real-world examples, visual aids, and creative exercises to make learning engaging and (dare I say) fun!
