About Shereena

I’m a passionate and results-driven tutor specializing in IGCSE Business Studies. With a strong academic background and a deep understanding of the IGCSE syllabus, I focus on helping students not just memorize content but truly understand business concepts and apply them effectively in exams. My teaching style is clear, structured, and personalized. I simplify complex topics using real-world examples, guide students in answering according to mark schemes, and provide consistent feedback to improve their writing and exam technique. My goal is to help students think like businesspeople, write like examiners, and approach the subject with curiosity and clarity.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching Business IGCSE is focused on building real understanding, not just memorising keywords. I explain key concepts using relatable, real-life examples so that students can confidently apply what they learn to exam questions.

Each lesson is aligned with the IGCSE exam structure, helping students become familiar with the demands of Paper 1 and Paper 2. We practise how to break down case studies, extract relevant information, and structure responses that match the marking scheme.

I also guide students on how to approach higher-level questions such as “Discuss”, “Evaluate”, and “Justify”, by teaching them how to think critically and support their points with logic and evidence. Lessons are interactive, clear, and adapted to suit each student’s pace and learning needs.

Above all, I help students see the bigger picture of business by connecting theory to current events, trends, and real business decisions. This keeps the subject practical and engaging, while strengthening their exam performance.

Whether a student is aiming for a top grade or simply trying to pass, I provide the tools, support, and exam techniques to help them get there with confidence.
