About Ani

Hello! My name is Ani Carignan and I am an 18 year old college student ready to start teaching young kids flute lessons. I have been playing the flute since the age of 6 and have participated in symphonic bands, flute quartets, and pep band throughout my entire music career. While I do play five instruments, the flute is my favorite! I love children and would love to teach beginners of any age how to start off with playing the flute. We would work on fingering techniques, reading music, and all of the basics to help the player thrive while entering the world of music!

About the lesson

Our first lesson will go over what my student knows and does not know. From there I will start lesson planning (a beginner with know musical knowledge will begin with learning how to make a noise on the instrument while a person who has been playing for a bit will start with scales).

I have worked with young kids from the ages of 4-10 previously.
