Amazing. I have been taking lessons with Mrs. Vargas since the 7th grade and I couldn't imagine taking lessons with anyone else. I am now a sophomore in college and auditioning for a spot in the flute studio at different universities. I have been accepted in my top two school choices and got great comments from the flute professors and I couldn't have done it without my amazing flute teacher! She is kind, patient, talented, and professional. You won't regret taking lessons from her!

I had amazing lessons with Mrs Vargas for a few years! She was so supportive and very understanding! She helped me grow as a musician and person, helping me get into my high schools top band as well as get into the school of music at Illinois state university! I can't begin to describe how amazing she is as a person and teacher, take lessons with her, you won't regret it!

Annie is one of the most amazing instructors that I have ever had! She knows how to personalize lessons to every single student, regardless of where they are. She always pushed me to work towards what I my goals, and although I was only able to take lessons with her for a year, I grew immensely as a player and a musician in that one year. Annie helped me learn things about myself as a player that I would have never been able to discover by myself. She served as a true inspiration for me to play music! I would absolutely recommend her!

I started private lessons my junior year of high school and I wish I started sooner! Annie is amazing, and really cares about her students and wants her students to have a good time, and to excel and progress each week to their full potential. I learned so much from her and I even upgraded my flute that year from the starter flute, she came with me to help me pick one with the right sound and it was so much fun! The lessons and exercises each week overall improved my technique and improv skills, I purchased the books and practiced every day and I became a better flute player then I've ever been! I couldn't have asked for a better teacher! I made it into my college orchestra after my senior year for 2 years in a row and I knew at that point that's when the hard work and lessons really paid off!

Annie is hands down the best teacher I've ever had the opotunity to be taught by! Not only does she personalize every lesson to you, but she also acts more as just someone who teaches you how to play notes or create a better tone. Because of Annie I have more confidence in my playing, I have more knowledge about my instrument, and I have a teacher who I can always trust with any questions or problems I have. If anyone is considering lessons, I immediately recommend Annie because she is that amazing!
