About Kate
I am an experienced tutor, specialising in English Literature and English Language, but capable of teaching a wide range of humanity-based subjects
I trained and worked at Oxford Intensive School of English where I prepared students for their Prepa exams. This involved lessons on Textual Analysis, Current Affairs, Critical Thinking, and Essay Writing Skills.
I am currently in the process of applying for a PhD in English Literary Studies.
I have a friendly and accessible teaching style and train students to the best of their abilities.
I have a lower hourly rate so as to be accessible to children from low-income backgrounds.

Katie was an excellent student in Sixth Form with a passion and enthusiasm for English Literature. She worked at the highest levels throughout and was an independent learner. She studied Shakespeare and the other set texts and wrote analytical essays of the highest quality. She has superb interpersonal skills and communicates very effectively.
