About Stella
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Modern English Letters, and I am
CELTA and DTEELLS Certified.
I have 30+ years of classroom experience teaching English as a second language to both teenagers and adults of various cultures and religions. This comes from working in Cameroon, my home country and England.
Now retired, I still feel the need to help learners reach their potential while making a little extra money.
I am patient, hardworking and enthusiastic and teach with passion. I am happy when students become confident in oral and written work and to achieve this, my lessons are student centred and interactive and I use lots of real life situations, pictures, videos and repetition for lesson effectiveness. For students to attain their goals, effort should come from not only the teacher and students, but also from parents. So, we all have to work together to reach this objective. I therefore count much on parental support for student success.
