It's been said that teachers teach because they can't do. Well, not here. At Award Winning Writing, you'll get access to tips and tricks from an internationally awarded writer whose work has been featured in top publications - from The New York Times and Washington Post, to Good Morning America.
Whether you're looking to write an impactful essay or a short story that keeps your reader on the edge of their seat, I have the skills and knowledge to help you get there. A graduate of Indiana University's Honors College and a B.A. in Screenwriting with High Honors, I have experience in writing both academic papers and fiction. Plus, as a former National A.P. Scholar, I can help you with comprehension in English Literature, Language and Composition, and US History.

While working as a copywriter at Leo Burnett, a famous Chicago ad agency I did some mentoriship and community outreach programs which lead me to become interested in teaching. Eventually, I took a position as instructor at Chicago Portfolio School where I taught classes of 15 students how to come up with and artfully express strong, creative advertising ideas.
