About Janet
Offers tutoring services in every subject area for grades k-8
ESL TUTORING ALL AGES
Teaching is my passion! I have always enjoyed working with children for as long as I can remember. I have worked with children of all ages in many different capacities. I love their energy, positive outlook on life and unconditional love. They bring me nothing but joy and happiness. Teaching is a true gift and priveledge to me. It is truly a calling and my purpose in life.
I like to instill confidence and a "can-do" attitude in my students while they are young. That way it only grows and gets reinforced from a young age. I teach my students to believe in themselves and that they can accomplish anything they work hard for and set their minds to. With this mindset, they will be successful in life. It is my priveledge to teach this to them and equip them with the attitude, strategies and tools to become whatever they dream of.
Went to college and got my BS IN Education/English and my teaching certification. Then was hired at Wintergreen Interdistrict Magnet School where I taught for the next seven years.
I currently hold a BS IN Elementary Education and English, a MAED IN Curriculum, Instruction and Educational Technology, a TESOL certificate and a Teacher Certification for grades K-6 (FL, CT)
I also have ten years of experience as a full time teacher in gradesK, 3 and 4, and two years of experience as an ESL Teacher teaching English online
I also have extensive experience in Special Education and Educational Technology
