About Kaitlyn

I teach a wide variety of subjects, ranjing from crochet and photography, to piano and English. I sell my crochet products through my business, for which I do my own product photography. I'm also majoring in music education and minoring in ESL, but I did teach piano and voice through all four years of high school.

This is what I'm passionate about. No tests or exams that define how well a student does. My goal is to teach for understanding, just as I learn for understanding. You get there when you get there, and that's ok. We're all humans. We learn different from others and accept different types of teaching better.

That being said, I do try to incorporate as many forms of learning as I can, and I alter my material and teaching style to the student. I think it's important to spend most of your time learning in a way that best suits you, but I also think it's valuable to learn to learn other ways as well.

I'm so excited to meet my new students!
