About Jonathan

Being a Graduate student at the #1 nationally ranked Sport Management Master's Program in the country, I have accumulated a broad knowledge of several subjects. I believe my learn at your own pace style combined with my adaptability to several different types of learning styles makes me a key candidate to help your child excel in school.

As a child, I was very difficult to get through to in the classroom. My parents then took me to a tutor, Mr. Hart, who changed how I learned forever and really bought into me and is the reason I am where I am today. The opportunity to help other struggling students find their most optimal study habits and best ways to learn is exciting to me.

I have been a tutor since I was in high school and I would tutor middle schoolers and freshman specifically in writing and history classes.

I prefer using the beginning of the first session getting to know the student and finding out their passions and what drives them. I find this essential to getting through to a student because you can communicate much easier with them when you switch your frame of mind to theirs.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
1. What teaching style in the students past have they found most successful to helping them learn?

2. What is holding the student back from excelling in the classroom?

3. What drives the student to want to be successful in the classroom?
