About Leslie
Hello! My name is Leslie and I love anything related to English with a passion. My love for English Literature began when I was a little girl and since then, I vowed to study and understand it. In 2019, I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing & English Literature with a concentration in Poetry from Southern New Hampshire University. During my years in undergrad, I worked as paraprofessional educator. Lastly, I have published two chapbooks.
Due to my experience, I look forward to helping students who have difficulties with understanding English Literature, Creative Writing, and grammar.
As previously mentioned, I studied English Literature as an undergrad student as well as being a paraprofessional educator. During my employment as a paraprofessional educator, I enjoyed assisting students with their work and any questions they had.
In 2015, I was employed as a paraprofessional educator.

Before moving forward, I like to "interview" the student. I like to ask the student what their strengths and weaknesses are. Next, I will determine if their needs align with my services. From there, the student and I can construct a lesson plan and move on from there.
I have worked with a wide range of students! I have experience working with Pre-K students to high schoolers as well as students with learning disabilities such as autism.
Please ask any questions that you may have! It's always a great idea to "interview" your prospective teacher/tutor. By asking questions, you'll be able to see if that teacher may be a good fit for you.
