About Amanda
I am a working opera singer with a passion for education. I work with students to improve their confidence, whether it is in reading and writing or music performance and theory, and love to find the places where those things intersect. I have tutored friends and peers in both music theory and English since high school, taught private voice and piano lessons, and have Bachelors degrees in both music education and performance as well as a Masters degree in Opera Performance from the University of Maryland.

I love helping students understand a concept they were previously struggling with. My goal is for students to feel confident to find solutions on their own.
