About Jonah
I am a native English speaker who loves the English language, but also understands how difficult it can be to get all of the nuances down. I speak Spanish as well, but I learned that later in life so I’ve learned a few tricks for how to pick up on a language and the little things that make a difference. With me as a tutor not only will we broaden your comprehension of the English Language, but also teach pronunciation, slang, grammar and more!
I am a native English speaker and was raised learning the language in school. I taught English in Haiti at schools on mission trips for 2 years, as well as learned Spanish in Costa Rica in 3 months.

First I test the students current knowledge and look for the areas that really need growth, then I start working on filling in those gaps so that my students really begin to sound like native speakers! But I also strongly believe that language is best learned in conversation! Not only do you learn context and how to emote in a language much faster, but you also build a relationship with your students. Allowing you to move past fear and shyness and dive into the language!
Find someone you will enjoy yourself with. Feeling comfortable enough to mess up, but also take the critiques in order to better yourself as a language speaker is the most important thing.
