About Kathryn

I’ve always been great at science and math and I want to go into teaching later on, so this is a good segue for me to find my passion in teaching others.

I have been standing in on classes since 2017 and grading students’ work as a teacher’s aide.

I got a 4 on both the AP Biology and Language & Composition tests, and have never gone below an 80% in a class.

About the lesson

I start with asking what they think they need help with, then begin offering suggestions on what next steps to take. In math, I reference past things that will make the subject more understandable. In english, I grade papers and essays well while giving suggestions on what improvements to make.

Learn about your style of learning and find someone who fits your needs best. If a teacher specializes in what you need help jn but is a higher rate, even an hour of teaching alone can improve your grades drastically. Give it a try!

More students at one time means a higher rate. One student per hour to tutor is $15. For each added person to tutor is an extra $7 to the rate per hour.
