About Michael

Through teaching in Philadelphia, to Buffalo, all the way to working at a boarding school, I have been blessed to use my love and passion for education to help students with and without learning disabilities.

I love helping students find those "aha!" moments. As an educator, I aspire to help my students reach their potential and make their learning as impactful and enjoyable as possible. :)

I have always loved school from childhood all the way until adulthood. As an elementary education major at Niagara University, I worked as a camp counselor at the Gow School Summer Program for six sessions.

I earned my bachelors at Niagara University in 2016 in Childhood and Special Education Grades 1-6 (Minor in Literacy). I have taken seven courses at the University of Pennsylvania. I am also currently earning my masters in Higher Education and Student Affairs Adsminisrration at Canisius College.

About the lesson

With every student I work with, it is important to best understand what stressors are in place. I remember being so frustrated as a child in math class as a child because I was juyst so confused on some key concepts. Withj teh help of my own tutor, and some teachers, I began to be more confident in my learning.

Once you understand what needs help, your child can start becoming better prpared in gaining the necessary skills to gain control and autonomy in their own learniing.

I started my teaching career in the city of Philadephia. i worked with students with disabilties from 1st grade through 6th grade. Then I worked with 5th graders in Buffalo. I have aso worked with students dyslexia and other learning disabilties in a boarding school setting.

Hey there! :) If you are reading this I am assuming that you need a little bit of help. That is completely normal! I had tutors myself as a child, and now I am set to earn my Masters degree! Learning can be stressfull, but the light is at teh end of the tunnel. Education is a process. Learning takes time. I am here to help ya get through this :).

With the current pandemic going on, I understand how finances can bring upoon great stress to families. As I am now out of work, I am asking for a little amount to get through all of this. Nothing drastic.
