About Mari
I am a recent high-school graduate, starting in community college. Throughout my high-school career, I earned the following awards:
The California State Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish
A score of 4 on my AP Spanish Language and Culture exam
A score of 5 on the AP Literature and Composition exam
The AP Scholar Award
The Arts Chord
Struggling with ADHD throughout most of my academic career, I had to overcome many struggles in order to succeed in scholarly pursuits. I did it without medication, just hard work and dedication to myself. Skills such as time management, organization, and focus don't come easy to a student with ADHD. I have worked to gain and maintain these skills through techniques that any student can utilize. In an online learning environment, these challenges can be increasingly difficult to overcome. I hope to provide the support you or your student needs to lift the burden of whatever difficulties they may face.
I want to share what I have learned with other students. I will do my best to guide you on your academic journey!
I enjoy teaching others, in part because I know the joy of learning. I have felt, for a long time, that helping people was my truest purpose in life. Through teaching others, I feel fulfilled. I would love to extend my knowledge to you or your student.
