About Erin

As a full time teacher with 12 years experience, I find that helping students get that extra push is the best part of the job! I have a background in school counseling, elementary education, middle school English, middle school Math, Special Education, gifted, and ESOL.

You name it, and I can help with it!!

There's nothing more exciting than the "light bulb" moment, where a concept finally clicks with a student! I love to facilitate this moment with students, and I can't wait to help you achieve yours!

I have taught for 10 years in various areas, including special education, gifted, ESOL, middle school math, middle school English, counseling, audio-visual, journalism, and many many more!

I have two Bachelor's degrees from Penn State University, one in Psychology and the other in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood. I completed my Master's degree at Millersville University of Pennsylvania in School Counseling. I hold an Ed.S. in Curriculum and Assessment from the University of West Florida, and I'm currently working on earning my Educational Doctorate (Ed.D.) in the same area.

I needed help with my writing for a college essay, and Ms. Anderson was able to help me get accepted! She helped me through each step of the writing process and even let me practice some speaking to build my confidence. I'm so thankful for her help.
