About Shannon
I have been a writing tutor since August 2016. I currently work for The University of Tennessee at Martin in the HORTENSE PARRISH Writing Center. I am a senior getting my bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Psychology. In 2021 I will be pursuing my Masters in English at Murray State University. I am proficient in MLA and APA styles. I enjoy creative non-fiction and poetry.
I really enjoy helping students find a passion for writing. I enjoy seeing their expressions when they understand new concepts or start to find something less difficult.
