About Coco

I do not teach in the traditional way. We approach the language through storytelling, conversation, and an unusual approach to textbooks.

if learning is not done in a fun and stimulating way, we resist, close down, and learn much less efficiently.

I want to open you up and have you look forward to classes and assignments!

I love my interaction with my students. Connecting in an inspired way!

I started teaching in Paris, France.

I have a BA degree from the University of Cape Town and South Africa, as well as a degree in the French language from La Sorbonne in Paris.

In Paris, I taught at a renowned language school called Cybèle Langues, for four years and received the Teacher of the Year Award twice in a row.

I have taught languages since 1997 and have taught over 1000 people.

My experience is extensive and far-reaching. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a young person develop and grow and improve.

My schools name is Fleuris - which is French for: to bloom!

About the lesson

I make the student comfortable so loving informal conversation. I hear about their passions and dreams and interests, and I include that in the work that we do. I do not work in a conventional way but rather in an artistic and intuitive way. I pour a lot of love into my work, but I am also strict about homework assignments and getting stuff done.

All kinds from all walks of life!

Look for someone who doesn’t just do it for the money but who is passionate about teaching!

Twice a year my school has presentations in the French language. This year we did Alice in Wonderland, and it was truly magical! The children dressed up in character and presented themselves and presented themselves in fully fluent French on which they worked so hard. Afterwards we had cake and a veritable tea party!
