About Katherine
I teach 10th grade English and American History. I have a passion for these subjects, but I have a stronger passion for helping students succeed. There is no such thing as a small victory!
I received my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Dayton in K-12 Special Education. I am currently in the process of getting my Master's Degree from Ball State University.

My typical process for working with a new student is assessing what they have struggled with the most in the past, what they are struggling with currently, and what they are confident in. Then, I learn how the student learns best and what they are the most comfortable with. I then gather materials that I believe will help the student and walk them through how to use the resources.
I have worked with students ages 5-18 with varying socioeconomic backgrounds and a diverse range of academic needs.
