About Chase
I have years of experience teaching a variety of subjects and I'm ready to pass that knowledge onto you.
I have previously taught primary, secondary and college level students in Beijing, China. Subjects I taught included English, Literature, Writing, Editing, Economics and History.
After returning to the United States, I worked as an Adult ESL Teacher and Americorps Member for the Ozark Literacy Council.
My most recent endeavors have been on the business side of teaching, as I worked for a company that sponsers the visas for international teachers for a company called Alliance Abroad Group.
But now I am ready to return to teaching and I'm eager to get to know all of you as well.
I come from a family of teachers and always had a passion and respect for the profession. I first began teaching after graduating college when I moved to Beijing.
I have 5 years of teaching experience ranging from kindergarten English classes to college prepatory to adult ESL.

I get to know the student first, before any tutoring can be done. I like to know what type of learning methods work best for them and what their interests are. This will allow me to cater my teaching style to each student individually.
I have worked with the whole spectrum of students, from primary, secondary, college and adult learners.
Look for one who wants to know how you learn best. A teacher that is more engaged with their students yields better results.
