About Emily
I tutor in SAT/ACT test prep, Italian, and math and science up to the college level. I have recently graduated from an Ivy League university with my Masters degree in Engineering. I scored in the 99th percentile (top 1%) for both my ACT and SAT, and I graduated high school as the class valedictorian. I have experience tutoring high school students in SAT/ACT, STEM subjects and college essay writing, and have also worked with elementary school-aged students in a classroom setting--I love working with kids of all ages!
It makes me feel good to help students to make leaps and bounds towards their dreams. I enjoy watching my students gain confidence in themselves and realize their true potential!

First, I like to sit down with the student and talk about their individual strengths, weaknesses, goals, and expectations for our sessions. In this way, I like to create a unique experience for each of my students and methods of tracking progress. I typically like to meet with a student at least once per week for an hour and half, assigning some sort of brief assignment in between our sessions.
