About Ryan
If you would like to know how to do play essentially any percussion instrument or perfect your rhythmic knowledge, music theory knowledge, or anything else relatable to the matter I can promise improvements in hours, and drastic improvements with dedication and around several months you can be a very strong percussionist. As a reader, player, performer, student,accompaniment, etc... I love drumming and I love sharing the knowledge I possess even more.

Gaging where they are at their current talent Level, and then spending time thinking about ideas on the ways it can be better; either by using a relatable story from my past or by trying every known way a person can be possibly taught. Any student should be teachable and I would tell anyone who was above my own level, but I offer years of honed technique mixed with my own experiences and individuality.

Don't hire someone who is the best at doing, what you want to do, for some reason most of the time those people have trouble explaining things when most of it came naturally to them... I would tell a student to find a teacher that makes him or her want to work every single week not because it's a chore or anything but because it's something that's fun to do and it's a talent worth mastering if you have the patience.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
the equipment they may need, such as sticks or pads. Is this the right teacher for me? Am I having fun doing what I thought would be fun? Using your free time in the session less to hacking away with ideas of your own and more towards focusing on the task up ahead.

Depending on travel mostly, I honestly don't charge very much I would say at 10$ an hour with the price of gas on distance traveled to and from taken into account.
