I've taught privately for 25 years. From young students to older students. Rock n roll to jazz to everything in between.
I studied under my jazz drummer father (and Freddie Gruber protoge') Denny Dennis as well as with the great Chad Wackerman. I can help you with : performing and recording techniques/concepts, using a charting system(for learning music and being accurate), playing for the song/making music on the drums, the importnce of listening-balance and dynamics, career advice, and so much more

I work with each student to establish what their golas are and what they want to focus on in establishing a direction for our drum lessons. There is no '1 size fits all" lesson plan. I always make it fun and rewarding!
All ages (8-70). All abilites from beginners on up. Whether you want to learn to read music or just want to learn to play songs my lessons promise to be a comfortable experience. Drumming always puts us in a positive, happy place.
There is no 1 way of learning. There are different paths to reach goals, and there isn't just one way right way to get there.
I have been recording with Robby Krieger (The Doors). He's filming his band playing all The Doors songs he wrote and helped make famous!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Make sure the potential teacher understands your goals and most imortantly can relate to them. For instance: you may want to learn Foo Fighters or Tool songs and the teacher is strictly a jazz drummer. Find a teacher who can relate to what you're into. More fun for the teacher, too
