About Kathleen

Hello! I'm Kathleen, a teacher and an artist who loves to create loose, expressionist-style artwork. I have been teaching for over 30 years and I love to share my passion for creating art with others. I work in a variety of mediums including watercolor, acrylic, soft pastel, oil pastel, and mixed media. I love to paint a variety of subjects, including florals, landscapes, and fashion-inspired compositions. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Art Education and a Master's Degree in Design, Housing, and Merchandising. I teach art classes virtually for all levels of artists. I can also lead group classes, paint parties, and corporate events. I specialize in adult education and I strongly believe in the therapeutic benefits of creating art. I love to help others relax and enjoy their own creative expression. Whether you are a true beginner or an experienced artist, I would love to help you reach your artistic goals. With over 20 years of experience teaching art in person and online, I believe that anyone can be an artist.

I have a Bachelor of Art in Art Education, along with a Master of Science in Design, Housing, and Merchandising. With over 20 years experience as an artist and college professor, I have extensive experience teching art and design to all ages and levels of students.
