About Ernesto

I've been teaching Visual Arts for 25+ years. Different art programs and media: Painting, Drawing, Printmaking, Sculpture, Handmade paper, etc.

Sharing with others my experience, learning from my students, laughing with them.

As soon as I finished the art studies I was called to teach Visual Arts at the Higher Pedagogical Institute, in the Fine Art department. After 3 years I was called to teach Art in the Professional Academy of Fines Arts "El Alba" of Holguin, Cuba, from 1994 to 2015.

Education and Credential:

1998. Diploma in the Teaching of Fine Arts, University of Art, Havana, Cuba.

1988-93. Bachelor in Education, Specialty Fine Arts, Higher Pedagogical Institute, Holguín, Cuba.

1983-88. Associate in Arts Degree, Technical and Professional School of Fine Arts, Holguín, Cuba.

1980-83. Vocational School of Fine Arts, Holguín, Cuba.

About the lesson

Knowing their interests and goal, seeing their works and progress, showing my works, planning the lessons and how we will approach to their goal.

I have worked with children, teenagers, adults, and the elderly.

First of all, I recommend hiring a teacher who is an active artist, look into her/his work, achievements, and experience in the teaching of the arts.
