About Jamilla

Hello my name is Jamilla (jah-mee-lah) I just moved here this summer opening my Skin & Body Method studio in Carmel By The Sea. I also teach Belly Dancing & Afro Beats Fusion Dance. All ages are welcome & No experience necessary! Dancing is a great workout it's all about having FUN! I get excited to see students in their zoom boxes and or walk through the door ready to release the stress from the day. Looking forward to meeting you!

I have been dancing Middle Eastern Bellydance since I was a kid in 1981 in have been fortunate to travel the globe sharing my talent and style of dance as well as teaching. Sharing my skills is what I enjoy.

My ma would take me to so many events and lessons we would take together. As I grew into the dance community people sought me out to teach.

I have had extensive training in workshops from artists, choreographers and coaches of many generes of body movement.

About the lesson

Just getting to know them and figuring out what the goal is together.

All types of students everyone is welcome.

I would say have a conversation with the instructor and ask questions.

Just did an event and it was wonderful since the pandemic and it was really nice e to see fellow instructors & performers of course all were vaccinated.
