About Tutor

Hello,

I am a qualified and experienced langugae tutor offering tailor-made Croatian lessons.

As a Croatian native speaker, I am familiaar not only with the language but with the Croatian culture and history as well. Instruction language is English, Dutch or Russian and I speak some French and Spanish as well.

Do you have a Croatian speaking partner? Do you have relatives in Croatia? Have you spoken Croatian as a kid but later forgotten? Are you planning to visit or settle in Croatia? Whatever the reason, I can help you to learn or refresh your Croatian! Welcome!

I like helping people to achieve their goals. It's nice if you can do that promoting your native language and your own culture. Working online gives me oportunity to meet interesting people from everywhere and that's a real enrichment.

Upon obtaining my diploma, I got a job in school. After teaching at Primary and High School, I ran language courses at a private language school and summer language camps. I also worked as an interpreter and translator and in 2017 I started with online teaching.

About the lesson

1. Free trial lesson 30-40 minutes including:

a) assessment, info over the reasons for learning the language, goals setting

b) explanation of the way I work, resources I use, info over technology needed for the lessons

c) planning: number of hours per week, days and times available

d) info over payment, scheduling and cancellation policy

As far as online teaching is concerned, I have been working with adults.

Look for a well educated and experienced tutor who is professional and responsible. Do not look at the price, the cheapest is not always the best!

After couple of months studying with me, a student of mine went to Croatia where her baby was baptized. She came back happy saying it was significantly easier for her to understand and communicate in Croatian than during her previous visits. Also, the whole family of her husband and his Croatian friends and neighbours noticed that her Croatian has improved.
