About Otto

NYC Chef, formally trained in classic French cuisine. Extrodinary breadth and depth of cuisines and cultures. Cooked on a nuclear submarine, former personal chef to Leona Helmsly. Traveled to 30 countries on 5 continents. Chef Otto teaches with the Three E's. Educate, empower, and entertain. Anyone who has taken his personal, intimate, cooking classes are not only armed with the expertise and confidence to cook, they have a great time doing it. I was born with inherent teaching skills. Professionally I opened a cooking school at the Atlantis Resort and Casino in the Bahamas. I was a Chef Instructor at the CIA in Hyde Park NY and the Art Institute in Las Vegas.

Cooked on a nuclear submarine. Trained at the Pierre Hotel in NYC completing apprenticship, classically trained in French cuisine. National and international experience, the Bellagio, Charlie Trotters, Le Bernadin, the Atlantis, Mardan Palace. Former Chef Instructor at the Culinary Institute of America.

About the lesson

To ask what they want it is they want to learn exactly and to custom make a learning expeience created strictly for him/her.

Largely, conventional students, meaning young twentysomethings. However, I have taught all ages.

Ask questions, ensure he/she is well experienced and has worked with named chefs in reputable establishments.

Created an event entitled, You Otto Make A Difference. It was a food and wine event at a luxury import rug store. All attendees were required to bring a bag of non perhisable groceries which was donated to the local food bank. Over 200 bags of groceries were collected.
