About Julia
I take the time to understand your needs. Whether it’s an in-home party or educational class, I go above and beyond to make sure it’s exactly what you want. I specialize in making the mundane exceptional - and with a focus on nutrition and health, I can modify any recipe to either adhere to a specific diet or simply stay “healthy”. I can also go full tilt and cook to impress cutting no corners, providing the most indulgent and pleasurable experience. We can conquer anything, but my specialties are authentic Mexican, Asian and Indian cuisines in addition to full cocktail/bartending lessons and services. I love to cook food that sings!
I love teaching and seeing your success. I’m driven to impress; I want you to enjoy my services to the absolute max. I cater to all requests and want you to benefit whether it’s learning a technique or simply impressing your friends with a dynamite spread.
I started cooking when I was six and have been perfecting my craft for 30 years. I began teaching when friends would be making dinner at home and call me to ask for tips and advice. I started teaching officially about ten years ago in conjunction with my personal chef services. I very much believe in the “teach a (person) how to fish” philosophy.

Details
My minimum is 4 hours at $50/hr for up to four people. This includes shopping, execution, service and cleanup. Groceries are extra. Additional people are $50 each, however each scenario is unique so please contact me for further details.
